Local Man Scheduled For Execution

The state of Ohio said it will put Darrell Ferguson to death on Tuesday in Lucasville.

Ferguson was convicted of killing three people, and now he has said he must die for the crime. On Dec. 25, 2001, Ferguson killed Thomas Kings and later killed Arlie and Mary Fugate.

During his sentencing in 2003, he told the three-judge panel and the victims’ families he was not sorry for what he did, and if ever got out of prison, he would kill again.
