1.  Brock Turner expected to be released Sept. 2 

The local Oakwood man who was sentenced last week for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman in January 2015, is expected to be released by Sept 2. Turner was sentenced to six months in county jail with early release possible in three months for good behavior.

2. Woman sentenced in infant dog mauling case 

Yesterday, a woman was sentenced to three years in prison after her dog fatally attacked and mauled a 7-month-old. Kimiko Hardy had warning that her dog was aggressive as it had attacked a postal carrier, according to Montgomery County assistant prosecutor Karen Groseth.

3. Local Chick-fil-A to give away $1,000 a day in free food

A local Chick-fil-A plans to shut its doors for 30 days for a $1 million renovation. During this time employees will focus on service projects to give back to the community.

4. Pregnancy Resource Clinic celebrates grand opening at new location 

The Pregnancy Resource Clinic of Clark County will open its doors on Sunday to the public. This facility will provide free medical services such as pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and nurse consultations.

The Story Changes, 9 p.m.

Blind Bob’s on Fifth Street will experience The Story Changes, a local punk band. They will be joined by two other bands: Bribing Senators and Move Home.
