1. Reward in case of 8 slain relatives poorly publicized

A reward totaling $10,000 to help solve the murder of eight people from one family was “lost in the shuffle,” said Ross County Sheriff’s Deputy Dave Weber. A spokesperson for DeWine’s office said Thursday his office hadn’t been aware of the reward offer.

2. Huge brewery merger: What does it mean for SW Ohio?

On Wednesday night, it was announced AB InBev (Budweiser) and SABMiller’s (Miller Lite) merger has been approved by the U.S. regulators. The merger’s impact could result in higher prices and disrupted distribution channels.

3.  Excessive Heat Warning issued for Dayton metro

The National Weather Service for Montgomery County issued an Excessive Heat Warning which will begin at 10 a.m. today and carry into Saturday night. This means that the temperature could feel like it is in the triple digits due to high temperatures and humidity.
