“While we have access to this funding for several years from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, the money does not roll over,” Brianna Wooten, director of communications for Montgomery County.  “This year, we have more than $1 million dollars left to be used from this program.”

Montgomery County homeowners can apply to up to $20,000. Up to $5,000 is available for renters.

The grants are provided through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, according to the Montgomery County Long-Term Recovery Group.

The funding does not rollover into the new year, so residents are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
