AMBER Alert Canceled for 4 Cleveland children

Cleveland police have canceled a statewide AMBER Alert for four children taken from a school on Wednesday.

Octavia Hatchell Sr., the children's father, was spotted on Sulzer Avenue in Euclid by an alert citizen, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported.

Euclid police arrived and found all four children unharmed, according to the Plain Dealer, and they were taken to a hospital for a routine checkup. Hatchell was taken into custody.

According to the WOIO in Cleveland, the alert was issued after a man called his wife and said he was going to kill himself and his four kids who attend Horizon Schools.

The children are 9-year-old Alonte Hatchell, 11-year-old Octavia Hatchell Jr., 6-year-old Tameya Hatchell, and 10-year-old Tamiyah Hatchell.
