UDF opens after armed robbery

The UDF is now open after an armed robbery earlier today, according to Kayla Courvell.

UPDATE @ 5:14 a.m.:

The UDF is closed, according to News Center 7’s Kayla Courvell who is on the scene.

Police said are looking for two male suspects who were last seen heading towards Linden Avenue.

INITIAL REPORT:

Two suspects were reported to have robbed the UDF, 1666 Woodman Drive.

Scanner traffic indicates two suspects related to the robbery were wearing red bandanas over their faces and were carrying handguns.

The robbery was initially reported around 2:20 a.m.

Additional scanner traffic indicated that eyewitnesses saw a pickup truck leave the UDF at a high rate of speed around the time of the robbery. It is unclear at this time whether it is related to the robbery or not.

No injuries have been reported.
