A stolen vehicle was recovered and two people were taken into custody this morning on Interstate 70 near Interstate 75.

Richard Maupins, 32, and Autumn Dunlevy, 24, were both arrested on I-70 by Dayton police, according to jail records.

Both are being held on charges of receiving stolen property and possession of drugs.

Troopers said an off-duty Dayton officer spotted a freshly stolen black Saturn and followed it.

Once the vehicle entered Butler Twp., state troopers and Dayton police were able to stop the vehicle on the highway around 10:45 a.m.

During the investigation police also recovered “copious amounts” of suspected drugs, OSP Sgt. Jeff Kramer said.
