A child made the discovery of the body in the 2100 block, but did not witness the incident, according to detectives.
Police and a medic unit were dispatched just before 7:30 p.m. on a report that the child came home crying after the incident.
The body was in an SUV behind the Morris Furniture store, 2121 Harshman Road.
The name of the deceased man was not released.
