Crews met around 10 a.m. near the 2300 block of Upper Valley Pike, according to initial dispatch records.
No information was given on the identity of the person recovered.
German Twp. fire, Clark County Sheriff’s deputies and Ohio Department of Natural Resources crews responded to the scene.
A man was reported missing earlier this week from Clark County.
James O’Connor, 81, was last known to be at his Moorefield Twp. home around 8 a.m. Tuesday. His vehicle later was found unoccupied on Eagle City Road in Clark County.
