Morning yoga begins March 7

There will be morning yoga sessions with instructor Sarah Mard from March 7 to April 13 (Mondays and Tuesdays) 8:15-9:30 a.m. in C.I. Resurfacing program info online

Information about the Beavercreek 2017 Street Resurfacing Program is now available online at www.beavercreekohio.gov/. For questions about the program, contact Nick Smith, P.E., Assistant City Engineer at Engineering Department 937-427-5513.

The city will add streets listed as alternate selections to the base program dependent on funding left after the completion of the base program.

BELLBROOK

Drums Alive fitness class begins March 23

Certified Instructor Dorie Phillips is offering Drums Alive classes at Bellbrook park headquarters, 2751 Washington Mill Road, Thursdays, March 23-April 27, 6:30-7:30 pm. Fitness balls and drumsticks will be provided. This is a unique class combining rhythmical drumming and dance moves. No experience is needed. The cost to residents is $35 and $40 for non-residents. Pancake breakfast March 4

There will be a pancake breakfast March 4 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Bellbrook Middle School, 3600 Feedwire Road. Enjoy pancakes, local Narrows Reserve maple syrup and sausages. Coffee, tea, milk, orange juice and hot chocolate will also be provided. After breakfast, join us for a tour of the sugar camp. Tours last about one hour. Local maple syrup and candies will also be offered for sale.

Ages 7 and older is $8, ages 3 to 6 years is $4. Both prices include a tour of the Sugar Camp.

Taste of Greene County April 23

On April 23 from noon-3 p.m. come out for the 20th Annual Taste of Greene County. The event will be held at the Wright State University Nutter Center, 3640 Col. Glenn Highway. There will be more than 20 area restaurants competing to be voted as one of the best restaurants in Greene County.

Big Backyard March 15

On March 15 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. go for a hike, look for tadpoles and salamanders as well as listen to the spring chorus at the Narrows Reserve- Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Road, Xenia. Each month they will be doing something different, creating a craft and going for a hike.
