Cheddar’s sets opening day for Centerville location

The new Cheddar’s Casual Cafe will open Monday, June 20, according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.

The 8,640-square-foot, 356-seat restaurant adjacent to Costco Wholesale in the Cornerstone development is the first Dayton-area location for the Kentucky-based Cheddar’s, which operates 44 restaurants in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina and Ohio.

Cheddar’s is a casual-dining restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, with a menu that offers smoked BBQ ribs, grilled salmon, chicken tenders, country-style fried chicken, salads and sandwiches.

A Bagger Dave’s Burger Tavern, Chick-fil-A and Domino’s Pizza shop have already opened at the Cornerstone of Centerville site. A Kroger store and Panda Express restaurant are under construction, and a Cabela’s outdoor store recently opened at the multi-use development.
