The deaths of two men and two women increased the COVID-19 fatalities to 12 — split evenly with six men and six women — which is up from eight reported for the last couple weeks, according to Ohio Department of Health data.
Clark County reported the death Thursday of a man between 30 and 39 as its first linked to the coronavirus outbreak, and Darke and Miami counties each reported one more death Thursday, which are associated with outbreaks at nursing homes.

The death of a woman between 70 and 79 is 23rd for Miami County and the 19th linked to a cluster of cases at Koester Pavilion in Troy and SpringMeade Health Center in Tipp City.
Darke County now has 12 deaths connected to the Greenville Health & Rehabilitation Center with the death of a woman between 70 and 79 reported Thursday.
Montgomery County has 250 cases with 80 hospitalizations. Of the 12 fatalities, seven were 80 or older; two between 70 and 79; two between 60 and 69; and one between 50 and 59, according to ODH data.

Darke County has 62 cases with 14 hospitalizations. The 12 deaths involve four women and eight men, with seven 80 or older; four between 70 and 79; and one between 60 and 69, ODH data shows.
Miami County Public Health on Thursday reported 134 COVID-19 cases with 48 hospitalizations. The 23 deaths involve 11 men and 12 women; 15 were 80 or older; four between 70 and 79; three between 60 and 69; and one between 50 and 59, according to ODH data.

In addition to the single death, Clark County has 29 cases with nine hospitalizations, ODH data shows.
