INITIAL REPORT
Westbound lanes of I-70 are shut down following a crash involving two semitrailers in eastern Madison County Tuesday.

The crash initially shut down both directions of the interstate around 2:20 p.m. between Ohio 142 and U.S. 42, according to our news partners WBNS-TV in Columbus.

Eastbound lanes were allowed to reopen around 3:45 p.m. but heavy traffic remains, The Ohio Department of Transportation said in a tweet.
Only minor injuries were reported in the crash.
It was not immediately known when the westbound lanes of I-70 were expected to reopen.
