Family of 5 displaced after Riverside fire; state fire marshal called to investigate

UPDATE @ 3:42 a.m.:

A family of five has been displaced by the house fire on Lorella Avenue, according to Riverside Battalion Chief Jim Hart.

He told first responders that two adults and three children normally live at the house and arrived home as firefighters were putting the fire out.

The Red Cross has been contacted to help the family.

Firefighters at the scene believe the fire was suspicious, and have notified the state fire marshal to investigate.

Emergency crews are responding to a report of a structure fire in the 500 block of Lorella Avenue.
