Darke County Sheriff’s Office investigating crash on Hogpath Road

The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that occurred Wednesday evening at Hogpath Road and state Route 571 just before 5:15 p.m.

Initial investigations revealed that a 2017 Black Kia Sorento, driven by David Richey, 59, of Troy, was driving westbound on Hogpath Road. Richey pulled into the path of a 2007 White Mazda traveling northwest on state Route 571 driven by Terry Foshee, 53, of Union City.

Richey and Foshee were transported to Wayne Healthcare by Arcanum Rescue from the scene. Two occupants in Foshee’s vehicle, Connie Brumbaugh, 49, of Union City and Jena Stocker, 30, of Greenville were also transported to Wayne Healthcare by Arcanum Rescue.

The Darke County Sheriff’s Office, Arcanum Rescue, Gettysburg Rescue and the Pitsburg Fire Department all responded to the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
