Dayton Metro Library branches assist in tax relief for those with tornado-damaged properties

Montgomery County Auditor Karl Keith’s staff will be at the Trotwood branch of the Dayton Metro Library to assist those with tornado-damaged property to apply for tax relief.

They will be available to help people apply for a damaged property deduction from 3 to 6 p.m. today.

The event is part of a series of similar events hosted by the Dayton Metro Library branches. Later events will be on September 23 at the Brookville branch from 4 to 6 p.m., September 24 at the Burkhardt branch from 4 to 6 p.m. and September 28 at the Electra C. Doren branch.

An application takes approximately five minutes and notaries will be available to certify applications on the spot.
