One person was killed and three injured in a two-vehicle crash Oct. 10, 2019, at the intersection of state Route 274 and County Road 25A in Botkins.

A retired first responder who spent years running with a local rescue squad is expected to be among visitors to Tuesday evening’s council meeting.

They plan to ask village council to meet with the Ohio Department of Transportation and take a look at the intersection of state Route 274 and County Road 25A at the Inn Between Restaurant in Botkins.

The residents are concerned about the number of serious crashes at that intersection.

The most recent one earlier this month killed one person and sent three others to hospitals.

In several of those crashes, the at-fault drivers have run the stop sign at the intersection.
