Arson investigators called after fire breaks out in Dayton house

UPDATE @ 11:15 a.m.: 

Arson investigators were requested to investigate the cause of a fire that damaged an Adelite Avenue house in Dayton Monday morning.

Crews were dispatched to the 300 block of Adelite Avenue, near McCall Street, around 9:50 a.m. and reported smoke and flames were coming from the structure, according to initial reports.

Firefighters said the house was unoccupied and no injuries were reported. An initial investigation also found the fire started in the kitchen-area of the house, despite the structure not having any natural gas or electric service.

Firefighters will also make a request for the house to be demolished due to the damage inside.
