Firefighters battle house fire on Edison Street in Dayton

A house is considered a total loss after it caught fire Thursday morning.

Crews were dispatched to the intersection of Edison Street and North Marion Street around 10:30 a.m. and reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the structure.

No one was injured. Fire officials said it’s unknown if the house was occupied.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
