Fish fry will continue after gas leak

The Church of the Ascension fish fry is continuing this evening despite a gas leak that occurred in the afternoon, according to Kettering police.

The congregation was preparing to put on its annual fish fry outside the church, 2025 Woodman Drive, to support its athletic teams when a third party struck a gas line as some of the equipment was being set up, said Nick Hosford of Kettering Fire Department.
