Former Dayton pastor killed in traffic crash

Former Dayton Rev. Chris Coleman was killed in a crash Sunday night in Wyoming, Ohio, according to our news partners WCPO.

Coleman was the former pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Dayton for six years, WCPO reported.

Coleman was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old Milford man, when the crash happened around 5:20 p.m. on Mt. Pleasant Avenue.

The vehicle struck a guardrail and overturned, WCPO reported.

The former Dayton pastor was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

Coleman has been the pastor of Winton Wyoming Pastoral Region since July 2014, according to the WCPO report.
