Frisch’s to open new location

FAIRFIELD TWP. — The area will have a new Frisch’s Big Boy with an updated design when the latest Frisch’s Big Boy restaurant opens Monday, Nov. 30.

The new store, located at 3050 Anchor Drive in Fairfield Twp. close to the main intersection of Princeton Road and Gilmore Road, will open at 7 a.m.

“We have served several generations of customers in Hamilton and the surrounding areas. We are excited to be here.” said Karen F. Maier, vice president of marketing of Frisch’s Restaurant, Inc. “We served the first Frisch’s Big Boy in 1946, and opened our first Hamilton Big Boy in 1955. We are still a great value that people can enjoy every day.”

The latest Frisch’s Big Boy on Anchor Drive was designed by the southwest Ohio firm FRCH Design Worldwide. The new design is described by Paul Lechleiter, FRCH chief creative officer, as a modern interpretation of the classic diner. In addition to a brighter interior décor, it features the classic Big Boy statue as well as a two-story fin structure at the entrance, according to a news release.

According to Maier, the design of the new Hamilton Frisch’s may be different, but customers can count on the characteristic Frisch’s food that is beloved by long-time customers and becomes fast favorites with new ones. The menu will continue to feature the winning combination of traditional favorite menu items, like the hand-breaded fish sandwich and onion rings – mixed with fresh seasonal options, such as Frisch’s wraps, open-faced sandwiches with sliced roast beef or roasted turkey; and home style dinners.

“From our signature menu items, like the Big Boy and our award-winning desserts to the Breakfast Bar and Soup, Salad ‘n Fruit Bar, we have something for everyone,” said Maier.
