It’s time to remember events that shut down Hamilton to celebrate its earliest history.

The Journal-News dug into our archives to find photos of former Fort Hamilton Days, which happened in downtown Hamilton for several days. They had food booths, face painting, concerts, games and street performers over a weekend in June that ended with the fireworks over the river.
