This week, I bought $100.24 in grocery items. My out-of-pocket expense was $11.28 after taxes through two transactions. The majority of those savings came from the Mega Sale in conjunction with other sale items. Included in my purchase were 24 boxes of pasta, none of which cost me a dime.
Here’s some of my favorite deals and where you can find the coupons to get some extreme savings of your own. The prices below reflect the 50-cent discount per item as part of the sale:
• $1.29 Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain or Long Grain Rice: 75 cents off at www.unclebens.com/coupon.
• 49-cent Propel water: $1 off two Propel Zero in the Feb. 13 Smart Source.
• $2.49 Nivea for Men Body Wash, $3 off in the April 17 Red Plum.
• 49-cent Ronzoni pasta: $1 off two boxes of Health Harvest, Smart Taste and Garden Delight at ronzonismarttaste.newworldpasta.com/pasta_coupon.cfm.
