UPDATE @ 7:30 a.m.:

Four vehicles were involved in a crash that restricted I-75 South around 5:45 a.m.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper James Hutchinson, an aggressive driver set off a chain reaction crash that involved two motor vehicles and two tractor trailers.

Two people were transported to a local hospital, but their injuries were minor, according to Hutchinson.

Hutchinson encouraged those traveling for the holidays to be aware of the conditions of the road.

“With the holiday season remember to pack your patience first and foremost,” he said. “Be cognizant of the conditions of the roadways.”

UPDATE @ 6:54 a.m.:

Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatch reported that I-75 South is no longer restricted for travel near Liberty Township.

OHGO still displays traffic delays of about 20 minutes in the area.

INITIAL REPORT:

The right three lanes of I-75 Southbound are shut down due to a two-vehicle crash near Liberty Township.

The crash occurred around 5:45 a.m.

Ohio State Highway Patrol is responding to the crash.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatch, there are at least two injuries reported, but the severity is not yet known.
