Tank's Bar & Grill, which had been scheduled to open for curbside service on July 22 and reopen its dining room two weeks later, has pushed back those plans.

Tank’s Bar & Grill has pushed back its reopening plans to make some needed repairs, according to owner Debra Tankersley.

The popular Dayton pub at 2033 Wayne Ave. had been scheduled to reopen for curbside service on July 22, and move toward opening its dining room a couple of weeks later.

But problems with an air-conditioning unit in the Tank’s kitchen, along with problems with the restaurant’s phone lines, have delayed those plans, Tankersley said.

A new reopening date is not yet available.

“It is getting very discouraging to try and get re-opened, but we will persevere,” Tankersley told this news outlet.

Once reopened, Tank’s will accept orders by phone at 937-252-2249 or online at tanksbarandgrill.com. Planned hours of operation will be Wednesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will be closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.
