If you’ve got unused prescriptions, Kroger stores will double as collection sites April 28 to safely dispose of extra painkillers.
The event will be held on National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, which aims to help people dispose of unused prescription drugs to reduce the potential for medication abuse.
National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is organized by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
Kroger said in a statement that it is also partnering with EVERFI and Generation Rx to support drug prevention programs for high school students in some of its market areas.
