Brookville sustained damage from one of 15 tornadoes spawned during strong storms on Memorial Day 2019.

Abbey Credit Union has announced that it will be helping 50 families with insurance deductibles and home repair following the Memorial Day tornadoes.

The credit union is offering these families up to $250 per household in either deductible payments or home repair gift cards. Most of this money was provided to Abbey Credit Union via a grant from the Ohio Credit Union Foundation, which raises money at several events through the year and redistributes it.
