“We wanted to make sure we were giving our customers a good experience and make sure everything was set to go,” she said.
Lone Star rebuilt a new restaurant at its location at 6780 Roosevelt Ave. in Middletown after the old store burned down in August 2008.
The Middletown location will be the third of its kind as part of a new corporate design. It will feature a lighter color scheme with a rustic stonework interior instead of the traditional dark wood. The bar will also be larger and centrally located, said spokesman Howard Terry.
The grand re-opening will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16 beginning at 10:30 a.m. with a ribbon cutting by the Chamber of Commerce Serving Middletown, Monroe and Trenton to commence at 10:45 a.m.
