Man facing charge of unlawful restraint after inviting juvenile into apartment

A Fairborn man is facing charges of unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct after he invited a juvenile into his home, closed the door and passed out, according to police.

Police responded to the 400 block of Wallace Drive Thursday evening. A juvenile told police an adult male, later identified as Eric B. DuBose, 39, invited him to his apartment after they played basketball together.

Once inside the apartment, he closed the door and passed out, at which point the juvenile was able to leave.

Neighbors told police they saw the child running from the apartment and the suspect yelling at him.

The juvenile was not injured,

DuBose was arrested and charged with unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.
