Those interested can stop by the store 9 to 7 p.m. daily through Jan. 7, except for Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, when the store will be closed. Those who apply in person will receive an interview at that time. Applications also are being accepted online at Menards.com, and those applications will be reviewed and interviews will be given on a case-by-case basis.
“We’re looking for hard-working, well-qualified people to join our team at Menards,” Abbott said.
The store, originally scheduled to open in late winter, is now planned to open in mid-winter. Abbott said an exact opening date would be available in the next couple weeks.
For those hired, training will begin once the hiring process is complete.
Menards, which operates more than 250 stores throughout the country, will carry name brand appliances, pet products, lawn and garden supplies, and a line of groceries for a “one-stop shopping convenience,” according to a news release.
The family-owned company started in 1960 and is based in Eau Claire, Wis.
