The safety package will include:

  • An adjustable, reflective safety strap
  • A blinking, clip-on light
  • An informational card with tips on how to be safe while walking or cycling near traffic, especially during dusk and dawn

“The safety package contains items that are light-weight and easy to use. Using them is a simple way to make sure pedestrians and cyclists are seen my motorists,” said executive director Brian Martin. “In addition, it is important for pedestrians and cyclists to pay attention to their surroundings.”
