Miami Valley Walmart stores, Sam’s Clubs kick off Dayton Children’s campaign

All Miami Valley Walmart stores and Sam’s Clubs has kicked off this year’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) fundraising campaign to raise money for Dayton Children’s Hospital.

This campaign runs today through July 7 and is to help provide critical patient care for local sick and injured children.

"Each year our associates look forward to getting involved in this campaign and will often challenge each other with the single goal to surpass the amount raised the year before," said Tracy Saunders, Walmart Market Manager for the Dayton area. "Each of our stores takes supporting the communities they serve very seriously. However, they all become very passionate when it comes to the CMN campaign and the opportunity to help sick and injured children and their families."

To date, the Dayton area has raised $3,745,873. Nationally, the campaign has raised over $1 billion.

  • Donate $1 or more at the checkout lane or self-checkout at any Dayton area Walmart store or Sam's Club
  • Spread the word and encourage others to support via social media with custom CMN gifs and the hashtag #HelpKidsLiveBetter
