Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to hold testing event next week

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will be holding a testing event for those interested in becoming a corrections officer.

Candidates will complete both a written and physical performance test at the event on Sept. 28 at the Edwin C. Moses Job Center starting at 8:30 a.m.

Applicants must be at least 18-years-old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, bring a valid photo ID, $10 cash for the testing fee and dressed to work out.

Sheriff Streck encourages applicants to review the fitness standards and job dis-qualifiers.
