"We've had people from Florida, Pennsylvania, all over the United States inquiring," said Deputy Sarah Fraley of the Miami County Sherrif's Office. "A lot of these people want the small dogs and 16 we took were Yorkies.
Deputies found the dogs in a home while responding to an unrelated call.
No charges against the owner are being filed, as the dogs were well cared for -- the owner was simply no longer able to care for all of them.
The owner turned over all but four of the dogs.
