NCAA investigation into OSU football program continues

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The NCAA investigation into Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel continues as a newspaper in Columbus reports details of a letter the U.S. Justice Department sent to Ohio State in December.  The Columbus Dispatch says the letter details 36 things players are said to have sold or traded to the owner of a tattoo parlor in exchange for tattoos going back as far as 2008.  Not all of the transactions were considered NCAA violations.  The paper reports that investigators say one player got a 2003 Chevy Tahoe in exchange for a watch and 2010 Rose Bowl passes.  Five players and coach Tressel have been suspended for the first five games of the upcoming season.
