New bike path that spans from Dayton to Kettering may be in the works

The City of Dayton will vote tonight on whether to spend $29,000 for an independent contractor to appraise the value of land that could be used for an inter-city bike path.

The bike path would run from downtown Dayton near Keowee Street to Woodman Drive in Kettering. It would add to the already 300 miles of bike paths in the Miami Valley.

Voting on the issue is schedule to take place at 6 p.m. tonight and we will update you with the latest results.
