Northridge church damaged by tornado to reopen hall for annual picnic celebration

When the Memorial Day tornadoes hit, along the path of destruction was Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church in Northridge.

This church has been around for over 70 years and was the most heavily damaged Parish in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

The repairs are still underway, but they are going to celebrate their annual picnic and welcome a new pastor.

The church is reopening their hall, which was heavily damage, to host the picnic where more than 100 people are expected to attend.

The celebration begins at 1 p.m. at the church, 4134 Cedar Ridge Road.
