Ohio Governor Mike DeWine recognized the Oakwood High School’s Academic Decathlon team Monday in Columbus for earning their eighth consecutive Division national title at the United State Academic Decathlon National Championship.
The team earned the highest score in D-III history, outscoring 71 other teams from Division I, II, III and IV to place second overall out of 73 teams.
