Only 28 DP&L customers left without power in Montgomery County

UPDATE @ 8:17 p.m.:

Almost all Dayton Power and Light customers have had their power restored to them.

Twenty-eight customers are without power in the Montgomery County and crews have been continuously working to get it restored.

UPDATE @ 7:17 p.m.:

Montgomery County has yet to see all power restored to DP&L customers.

The outage map is still showing 246 without power this evening.

We will continue to monitor outages across the Miami Valley as wind continues throughout the night.

UPDATE @ 2:26 p.m.:

Power has been restored to most customers in Montgomery County, the DP&L map shows.

As of 2:15 p.m., 450 people remained without power, the outage map showed.

UPDATE @ 1:30 p.m.:

The DP&L map shows that a total of 1,990 people are without power in Mongtomery County.

DP&L reported that the outage was due to wind damage and that crews are working to restore power.

INITIAL REPORT:

The DP&L outage map shows that a total of 1,766 customers in Montgomery County are in the dark.

The outage was reported just before 12:45 p.m.

DP&L reported the outage was due to damage from high wind gusts. A crew is working to repair the damage.

There is no word at this time for when power would be restored.
