TONIGHT: Strong to severe thunderstorms will approach from the west overnight, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Jesse Maag said. There is a threat for tornadoes in Illinois and western Indiana, areas mainly south of I-70 can expect an increased chance of stronger thunderstorms. Damaging winds remain the main threat. Thunderstorm activity will likely leave the region around sunrise. Lows are expected to dip into the lower 70s.

TUESDAY: It will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and storms. Highs will be in the mid- to upper 80s.

WEDNESDAY: We'll see party cloudy skies. It will be warm with temps in the lower to mid-80s. We have a slight chance of a passing shower or storm, but most will stay dry.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny skies are expected, with highs near 80. Low humidity will make for comfortable conditions.

FRIDAY: We will see plenty of sunshine, few clouds. Conditions will be comfortable with temperatures into the middle 80s along with low humidity.

SATURDAY: Partly to mostly sunny. Higher temps topping off in the mid- to upper 80s.
