Parts of Sidney park closed due to tree damage

Tawawa Park in Sidney is closing certain areas until a large oak tree can be removed. Amos Lake, Watkins Woods, Meyer Meadow and the Brookside areas will all be closed until further notice.

These closures are due to a large oak tree that was spilt during this week’s storms. Once the tree is removed Sidney Parks will open up the affected areas to pedestrians and vehicles.

The rest of Tawawa Park is currently open and Sidney Parks and Recreation asks that you do not try to access the closed areas for any reason. If you have any questions you can contact Sidney Parks at 937-498-8155
