Piqua man accused of rape, taking photos of teen at tanning business pleads not guilty

A Piqua man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of rape and charges related to photos of a teen in a state of nudity at a tanning business.

Rocky D. Jenkins, 50, was indicted by a Miami County grand jury on one count of felony rape and three counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance.

He pleaded not guilty, and his bail was set at $150,000.

He is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a teen between January and December 2017 through the use of force or the threat of force.

He also is accused of taking photos of another teen in a state of nudity in April at a tanning room at a Piqua business.
