Police: Additional break-ins tied to suspects arrested last week

More break-ins around the Troy area have been tied to two men arrested last week, according to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.

Jordan R. Ferguson, 23, and James L. Oburn, 22, were taken into custody by Troy police in connection to multiple break-ins at Troy businesses.

They are both facing multiple counts of breaking and entering, according to court records.

The break-ins happened over a several-week period and included Bob’s Automotive, Joe Johnson Chevrolet, Milcon Concrete, Independent Auto Sales, Used Car Factory and the Miami County Fairgrounds, according to the sheriff’s office.

Some of the businesses reportedly showed signs of forced entry, but had nothing missing.

Detectives will meet with the Miami County Prosecutor’s Office and more charges are expected.
