No injuries but truck leaves large crack in small business, Dayton police say

UPDATE @ 10:59 p.m.: No one was injured in the crash involving a red pickup truck that rammed a small business in Dayton and police said they believe the early culprit could be speed.

The white building in the 2400 block of South Smithville Road that houses Nationwide Insurance: Kevin Murphy and Associates Agency, Inc., now has a large crack in it from the impact and there is paint leaking from the truck's bed.

Northbound South Smithville Road is shut down until further notice.

INITIAL REPORT

Police are on the scene of a pickup truck that has rammed a building at South Smithville Road and Watervliet Avenue in Dayton.

We're hearing all occupants are out of the vehicle but there is damage to the structure.

The incident was dispatched just before 10:30 p.m.
