Police: Dog shot after attacking Franklin officer euthanized

A dog that attached a Franklin police officer Saturday has been euthanized, according to police..

Officers were called Saturday evening to the rear of Waffle House in the 6800 block of N. Ohio 123 to check on the welfare of a dog in a vehicle. Officer Tiffany Wright knocked on a vehicle window, and when a woman opened the door, the dog jumped over her and attacked Wright, police said.
