Police investigation underway, vehicle damaged in Dayton

Dayton police are investigating around a vehicle with deflated tires and other damage at the intersection of Niagara and Linda Vista avenues, a short distance from where an apparent chase was reported, according to emergency dispatch traffic.

The incident was reported around noon, however details have not yet been released.

Around the same time, a medic unit was requested to the 200 block of Victor Avenue after a report of a dog bite, records show.

It’s unclear whether the two are connected, however a Dayton police K-9 unit is at the scene of the damaged vehicle.
