She was treated by Middletown paramedics at the scene and walked away from the crash, according to officials. The crash closed parts of Central Avenue for more than 40 minutes as police officers investigated and waited for a tow truck to arrive.

The teen was charged with weaving full-time and attention, she was not wearing her seat belt and her air bag deployed, according to the report.

The parked 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, which belongs to a man who lives in a nearby apartment, suffered substantial damage and was towed. The owner of the car said he typically parks on the other side of Central Avenue because he’s afraid of his vehicle getting hit.
