Jason Alexander Bigler, 46, was sentenced to 21 years in prison during the sentencing hearing in U.S. District Court Wednesday. Upon his release from prison, Bigler will be on lifetime supervision because of a prior federal conviction.

In September, Bigler pleaded guilty to distributing child pornography of children younger than 12, Benjamin Glassman, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, U.S. Department of Justice said in an earlier media release.
Bigler distributed, received, transported, and possessed over 2,150 images and 215 videos of child pornography, according to the justice department. Investigators also said he used messenger apps like Kik and Omegle to set up meetings with others where they would trade images and videos.
Bigler is currently listed as an inmate of the Shelby County Jail, according to online records.
