UPDATE @ 10:40 a.m.: 

Damage to a North Hatfield Street house is estimated around $5,000 after a fire broke out in the structure Wednesday morning.

Crews on the scene described the damage as minor inside the house.

Initial reports indicated one person reported injuries however firefighters said no one was injured or transported to a hospital for treatment.

FIRST REPORT

At least one person has reportedly been injured after a house fire broke out on North Hatfield Street in Dayton Wednesday morning, according to initial reports.

Crews were dispatched to North Hatfield Street near West Third Street around 9:35 a.m. on reports of a house fire with possible injuries.

Firefighters reported smoke was coming from the house when they arrived on the scene, emergency scanner traffic indicates.

One person, who is believed to have been injured in the incident, was at a neighbor’s house when crews arrived, according to initial reports.
